About Lou
I help people find the still, clear center within themselves — especially when everything else is in motion.
I've spent my career working at the intersection of health, trauma, and human resilience.
I'm a registered nurse with a public health background and decades of clinical experience in trauma — which means I understand what's happening in your nervous system when your life is in upheaval, not just what's happening in your calendar. I trained as an Army combat medic nurse and flight nurse, where I learned that the most important skill in a crisis isn't fixing — it's presence. Staying steady when everything around you is moving. Seeing clearly when others can't.
I went on to build a national communications consultancy, became a nationally published writer, and co-led healthcare strategy at the federal level. I know what it means to operate at a high level — and I know what it costs when the ground shifts beneath you. I've navigated that terrain personally, not just professionally.
My approach integrates clinical training in trauma with a longstanding meditation and contemplative practice. I am also trained in feng shui and manifestation practices, frameworks I use in my own life for clarity, alignment, and intentional design of what comes next. I don't lead with any of these modalities unless they're relevant to you, but they shape everything about how I listen, how I hold space, and how I understand change.
The stillpoint isn't a concept I invented. It's something I've found in my own life, lost, and found again — through practice, through upheaval, and through the discipline of staying present when everything in me wanted to run. That's what I help others do.
I am direct. I am practical. I will not tell you what you want to hear. I will help you see what is actually true and build from there.
